This week, our retro offering is sure to take you back to the days of best friends birthday parties… and the best part of musical chairs and pin the tail on the donkey? Well, the party bags of course!
It was almost guaranteed that all good party bags had a few of these classic treats thrown in, along with all our other tuck shop faves.
These mini rolls of fizzy, pinkness are often considered the sweeter sibling to the Parma Violet.
Yep, you guessed it… Fizzers!

Ironically I just finished a pack of these as i left the house for work so you have juat made my day by running a comp for fizzers. Forgot just how good they are but got a couple of packets out of a fun kids sweet grabber and need another fix. Love fizzers so please chewbz make my week tingle tastic and send me some

I’ve got to admit, I preferred Parma Violets. In fact I loved them so much that I can remember a time that I sent my boyfriend out to get me some late on a Sunday night and told him not to come back until he had some for me. Needless to say we’re not together any more. Though if I could have that time again I would still choose Parma Violets over him. Fizzers would be my second choice too 😉
WOW I remember these! my brother never liked them so i would always get his in the ready picked “pick n mix” bags on a friday after school 😛
With a name like mine it would be a crime not to eat Fizzers

I love either of these. A few years back my aunt told me that Parma Violets were good at clearing up mouth ulcers! I dunno about that!!
I prefer fizzers,my husband prefers Parma violets,at least sharing a bag is easy! 🙂
Always loved Fizzers and had hundreds of them on the tables at my wedding for the guests to enjoy – as well as loads of other sweets from Chewbz!!

Fizzers make me fizz!! They remind me of Sunday afternoons when I was a child, we were always treated to sweets after Sunday dinner. Fizzers would always be a first choice. The good old days ….. Leaves me with a fizzy feeling! x

I love fizzers so so much. I will take a pocket full to football and people may look and say why is a grown man eating fizzers. But when you offer them one they always take them and say “havent had these since I was a kid” more converts for the fizzers club.

I love the floral fizzers and we have sweet Friday at work where we by the bumper pack of sweets and there is always a fight for the parma violets by my team. This would put an end to all our fights for the fizzers each week.
They bring back great childhood memories too.

I hated parma violets always reminded me of eating a bottle of perfume! Fizzers I love and my kids always pull funny faces when eating them especially my 2yr old x

I absolutely adore Fizzers (& Parma Violets) I ate loads of these as a child & still love them. My kids all take after me too & can’t get enough of them either! I do try to hide my stash but somehow they always find them!

Modern sweets are boring.
I loveeeeeeee fizzers! When I was pregnant with my daughter I craved them and found myself eating packets and packets. No wonder I ended up having to have two fillings after she was born lol. They are now her favourite, she has them as a treat every Friday after school, fizzer Friday :). She’s a bit mean though as she never shares lol!
I love these,but then again i love EVERY sweet as i’ve a very sweet tooth! I think these are the kind you never grow out of! Best way to eat them is from a bowl,lots of packets all opened up in a bowl *drools* Yummmm!!!fizz is the Biz 😉
I haven’t tried these fizzy sweets since I was a child! I would absolutely love to try them again now, especially since I’m on a diet 🙁
