Retro sweet of the week!

Happy Monday retro sweet fans!

This week, we’re giving you the chance to win the chewiest classic around…

Assorted Toffees

Assorted Toffees!

Mmm! Since adding these retro sweets to our yummy selection earlier in the year, we’ve not been able to stop ourselves sneaking a few from the warehouse on a gloomy afternoon 😉 .

These come in banana, chocolate and lots of other crazy toffee flavours!

If you’d like to win some, as always, you just need to leave a comment on this post.

Our favourite comment will win the retro sweets, so make sure yours makes us smile :D.

Competition will close at 9am, next Monday the 19th September. Best of luck Chewbz fans!

I always went for the plain toffee in the selection, perhaps as a young boy I found the other flavours too ostentatious (I was an annoying little brat!)

  2. Dolly Fairley says:

Ooohhh I loved toffee as a child. I loved plain toffees or toffees covered in milk chocolate or with chocolate inside (like e-clairs). I was never afraid of trying flavoured toffees either – like mint flavoured though I did prefer pure and simple plain toffees though!
I also preferred the toffees that looked like they had been broken from a slab – lots of different shapes and sizes! It was better for sharing because if I had a bag to share, I would always try and give my friends the small pieces lol and keep the bigger pieces for myself! I also liked the Highland Toffee bars – they type in a wrapper that you could either suck or pull with your teeth so they stretched!
OMG – looking back I ate lots of toffees – I’m surprised I still have my teeth lol!

  3. tony says:

I love toffees, the chewier the better, milk choc ones are my fav, but in honesty, I will easily polish off any type of toffee

  4. Stephanie Green says:

I ate too many toffees when I was a kid and now have a mouthful of fillings but toffees are no problem to them. I have learnt to suck them and they last longer..

  5. Andy says:

Oh as soon as I read that there are banana toffees in the selection my mouth started watering. Love them, can’t actually remember how long since I’ve had one though. Just so that I’ve got a heads up, are they the ones in the yellow wrapper?

  6. Kim says:

I love them all, there isn’t a toffee I don’t like. With the amount I’ve eaten over the years I think I’ve kept a few dentists employed lol.

  7. Suzanne Cooke says:

A spoonful of toffee helps the medicine go down,
    in the most delightful way!!!!
And if the medicine is rotten you could always bung the bottle up with the toffee!

  8. sharne machin says:

toffee’s make a car trip a little bit easier, the crazier flavours the better esp when getting directions from my bf who likes the tell you your turning is coming up just as you go past it 🙂

  9. trudi law says:

I have 3 very noisy children. Generally they eat very healthily but a special treat of special toffees in a range of flavours would be sooooo exicting for them and the silence that follows as they chew them would be soooooo exciting for me!

  14. JoC says:

Toffee is seriously under-rated. You definately develop an appreciation for it as you get older. Definately the ‘Godfather’ of sweets. One in each cheek should do it 😉

  15. sandy says:

Have you ever fed a toffee to your pet (cat or dog)?? keeps them busy for hours and hours and hours and is one of the funniest things in the world. Please don’t report me to the RSPCA, I only did it once LOL.

  16. Gill Williams says:

  21. Rebecca says:
