my favorite things about autumn are the golden colours of the trees, the prospect of snuggling up in a blanket with a cup of tea, a fresh start as September feels like this to me due to starting uni this year, a cold breeze accompanied by a glimmer of sun, an excuse to cuddle up to your loved ones for warmth and the fact its slightly warmer than winter 🙂 xx

  8. Rebecca Harley says:

Theres so many wonderful things about autumn. When it’s dry its magical. So many lovely colours on the trees, the reds, oranges and golds. Then you can’t beat crisp dry leaves in a big pile… Theres not a soul out there who can resist walking through them kicking them freely. Plus not forgetting snuggling up with the duvet and a good film and a nice mug of hot choc with marshmallows.

  9. Rebecca Harley says:

Plus you can’t forget standing round a bonfire, listen to the crackle as it burns and watching the bright colors as fireworks explode into the cool night sky

  10. Renee Young says:

Nothing like autumn when your foraging the hedgerows making jams, chutneys, cake and sloe gin ready for Christmas gifts! All in front of our lovely roaring open fire. Nothing beats it! :o)

  11. Chrissie says:

Autumn is that time of year when the beauty of things are more visible. The nights come early and are crisp, leaving the skies clear for the stars to sparkle. Halloween, the 2nd best holiday of the year, is fast approaching, which brings the laughter and happiness of children through the town. The mornings are colder, which makes waking up a cuddly time of day. The rest of the day is filled with beautiful colours and chunky knits. And most of all, most of all, no horrible sweaty people wandering around with barely any clothes on.

  12. Kate says:

Well, it’s got to be digging out your hats, gloves and scarves. Putting them on and going for a walk through the park, looking at the change of colour in the leaves and the conkers falling down! Finally being able to have a cup of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and other comfort foods like soup.

  13. Dell says:

Well, the obvious one is kicking your way through autumns gown of golden leaves. To build on that though, there’s the way autumn makes your loved ones feel, with Christmas swelling at the horizon everyone is practically bubbling over with enjoyment!

    That’s what I love 🙂

Sweets of different types and colours
    Gathered into one.
And so tasty they must really be
To let us have some fun.
Covered in gem like sugar drops
    Oh so nice and holy,
And if you think I don’t like them
    Really, you don’t know me!
So one thing that we all must learn
Is how wonderful these must be,
For the great and wise company called Chewbz
To let us win some of these.

Warm baths with candles after coming home after work to warm up the freezing tootsies! But most of all I love when the rain comes, and batters against my window, it’s the best sound in the world when you are lying in your bed all cosy and warm 🙂
