I would love to win this prize for our special day! We have been together for 5 years now and have a little girl who’s 2! Would love to have some of the lovely things from your wedding range for our wedding. But as young parents aged 20 and 22 we are finding it hard to fund everything we would like on our special day. If we won this it would really top our perfect day off! We would be over the moon x x

  2. Cheryl Kilbride says:

I would love to win this prize for our wedding because my fiance and I have been together for 10 years we met at school and have been together ever since we’ve been saving hard for 4 years to have our big day next year! We have never won anything before so winning the £100 for our retro sweets would be amazing! We are naming our tables after our favourite retro sweets so adding that extra sweetness to our wedding would make it wonderful and extra special to us! xxx

  3. Jenny says:

I’d love to win for some close friends who are getting married later this year. This would be a fantastic gift as they are on a budget and weren’t going to have any favours at all, this would make their day! 🙂 x

  4. Daniel whiteley says:

I would love to win this for my bride =) We have been engaged for almost a year, and our gorgeous vintage themed wedding is set for next year =D I would love to win because she has done so much planning and organising so far and I would LOVE to surprise her with this fantastic prize and take one thing off her mind =D Thank you so much!!

  5. Lesley says:

I would love to win for my daughter, unfortunately my husband and I can no longer afford to fund the wedding, so it falls to my daughter and her fiance to pick up the bill and as such any little thing we can win would be a amazing surprise for her and a huge weight off their shoulders! Many thanks for your generosity, she loves retro sweets and would adore these at her vintage style wedding!

  6. Jennifer B says:

Please could you pick us? My fiance and I are both students who are woorking all summer and 30 hours a week each during term time to be able to save up enough to pay for our special day! We don’t have any parental contributions, nor are we going to take out a loan to pay for it, so we are saving everything we can! We would love to win and be able to provide our guests with some fantastic yummy treats duriing the evening, and as a thank you for coming! Thank you for this generous giveaway!

  7. Sarah Sutton says:

My friends Naomi and Andy are getting married in February and deserve this more than anyone I know. I am so happy she chose me to be her bridesmaid, we both just graduated from university together and after 3 years of basically living at their house and being fed and driven to the big supermarkets and having had help lugging all sorts of uni work about I would love to give her a treat.
They are so perfect together and I already miss them so much after moving away. This is the first wedding of my group of friends and they deserve to have one that everyone will remember.
P.S. She was only saying the other day how having retro sweets on the table would give people who don’t know anyone something to talk about 🙂

  8. Lara Littlepage says:

please please please choose us.. lol… my fiancé Ben is at sea at the moment and I’ve been planning the whole wedding.. he’ll be home in October after a long 6 month deployment. we are trying to make our wedding so special but with limited time together and funds to pay for it it isn’t easy.Retro sweets are always sent to Ben in his survival packs when he’s away, so its very ‘US’ to have it on our special day… Our little boy Kai would probably eat most of the sweets during the day but it would be a lovely added extra to thank our lovely family and friends for their love and support every time he is deployed! thanks for the chance 🙂

  13. Sarah Wilson says:

I’m hoping this is fate! My partner and I had planned to have a little sweetie buffet for our guests, however, with most weddings other things to pay for have cropped up, and our budget just won’t stretch, so we’ve had to shelf our plan. This would be perfect if we won, and really would be the icing on the cake! Thanks, Derek & Sarah (with fingers crossed!)

  14. Jade Lauren says:

Why do we deserve to win? That’s tough I guess, no one is more deserving than anyone else but here goes!

We’ve been together for nearly three years and we’re recently engaged. We pay for everything ourselves, we refuse all help and there’s no way we’d let someone else pay for our wedding so anything to help would be amazing! We’re planning a huge outdoor garden party with lots of children, and this would be amazing for them! We’re keeping everything classy, but I’d love to add a fun spin to such a serious day :)!

    Thanks in advance,

    Jade! x

  15. christine naughton says:

Please pick me! I want some yummy treats for my guests to enjoy in our winter wedding, and for me 😉 of course. It would be great to win, as I’ve never really won much before, and for me and my patner to get our favour’s for our wedding would be out of this world!!! Please please please pick me..

  16. catrin says:

Everyone deserves to win something in life, but we never do, so maybe this is our chance.
We are getting married next year and on a really tight budget as we have 3 children. We have been together for 8 years, engaged for 4. we have gone through so much together and still going strong. I would really love to win this prize as I really want a sweet buffet at my reception. Retro sweets make me think of when my parents were alive and having sweets that remind me of them may feel like they are with me on my big day (corny I know) fingers crossed and good luck to everyone 🙂

  17. Charlotte says:

This would be a fantastic lift for myself and my fiance….my little boys too! Our daughter passed away last year and we have decided that at our wedding we are making a donation to the East midlands ambulance service instead of having favours – we can’t afford to do both! This prize would be a fantastic way of treating our guests and our sons on our special day – lord knows they all deserve it!

  18. steph says:

  21. Bronwen says:

This is a great idea and was exactly what we are thinking of for our wedding as we are very focussed on having a family affair with lots of fun for the little people. The sweeties would make our day as well as theirs. Please pick us as we would love to make our day extra special and see the delight on the children’s faces.

    Thanks you!

I’d love to able to win this to bless my daughter Charlotte who finally marries Paul next month after having postponed their wedding last year.
I can’t tink of a better way of uniting 4 generations of guests than with a retro sweet hamper. What a lovely trip down memory lane for the oldies and a great shared experience for all.

  24. VIVIAN ALLMAN says:

this would be great… it would release the inner child in all of us….. we recently went to a wedding that had a childrens sweet section at the buffett and that was the most popular 🙂

  25. Josie Holland says:

I would love to win these sweeties for a workmen who has become a great friend of ours.. He’s fab at his job, and him and his partner are a lovely couple,, So If I were lucky enough to win, I’d be glad to gift them to this wonderful couple. I know they have a good few kiddies going to there wedding, so this extra table treat would go down a real treat!!

  27. Lisa Kehoe says:

My fiance and I are marrying next month after 8 years together.

He loves his sweeties and it would be nice to have something for the wedding that I’ve done especially for him as he’s let me have my choice for pretty much all of it 🙂

  28. becky says:

Hi!!! I really want to win this as its a perfect match to our theme of a circus!!! =D The colours would go so well and would look amazing next to the cake I will be making myself, I plan on using coloured fondant to make it look like a circus tent!!

    Thank you ever so much!

    Becky

  29. Sarah Allett says:

I probably shouldn’t win these sweets as I can’t be trusted not to scoff the whole lot by myself, however my bride to be certainly does deserve to win.
She’s the most amazing person and incredibly patient – we’ve had the usual pre-wedding bickering, mainly because she’s been working so hard on getting our special day right and I’ve just been getting in the way (I call myself team hindrance). I’m fairly confident that regardless of my useless nature she’ll still say yes on the day, however these sweets could be the deal clincher! So, if you’d like to save the world from the hopeless mess that is me please choose us and she’ll feel obliged to take me off the shelf.
We’re having a civil partnership wedding and are astounded by the support we have been getting – it’s so amazing to have our friends and family getting excited about coming to the day a few years back we didn’t think we’d ever be allowed to have. I want to give so much back to the people who have supported us and I couldn’t think of a better start than a jar of sweets on their table!
It’s bad enough having one bride but by having two I’m sure you can imagine the chaos at the moment..we’ve both been dieting for so long for this wedding that I’m drooling just looking at the pictures on your site – having these sweets would not only be the best addition to the wedding but a great way to end the diet with a bang!
I’m afraid I just can’t resist in finishing with the final reason that I’d like to be chosen – so that I can give my lady a gift of something as sweet as she is (terrible, I know, but it is actually true!).

  30. Sherrilee says:

I would like to nomiate my daughter. She got engaged on her 21st birthday to her very patient fiancé, Oliver! She’s worked really hard ever since she was sixteen. She worked all throughout college to support herself at college, even getting up at 5am to go to the best college she could get to – it was in the next county! Jade even worked weekends because her education meant that much to her. Jade has also done lots of charity work for charities close to her heart, including CLIC and CHECT. She’s now at University and finding it really tough to find a job, and with moving back from London to Norfolk money is tight so this prize would be a dream for her and her partner. They would love to get married sooner and it’s little things like this that make a move, a wedding and a degree that little bit easier!
