My daughter is dressing up as a Cinder Witch… cross between cinderella and a witch, in the hunt for finding her a costume that fits her I havent looked for anything for myself. Being almost 3 she seems to fall smack between the baby themed stuff and things that are just to big. I guess I am going to have to hit the shops tomorrow or wednesday to find something a we bit spooky!

  3. Stacy Ward says:

I’m going to be dressing up as the most scariest thing I can think of… my mum when she’s angry! It will either scare the bejesus outta you or make you collapse in sticthes from laughing!

  4. Selina Rowse says:

I love Halloween! The kids are dressing up as Ghosts and I’m dressing up as a Ghostbuster. We are having an 80s themed Halloween party. We are making ghosts targets, bt using cardboard and spreading them around the garden. We are then getting loads of dart/ nerf guns and having a shoot the ghost contest.

I don’t care if I look silly. Haloween is an ideal time to dress up and be peter/ patricia pan even if it is just for one night!

  5. Kuraire says:

we’re having a halloween party this year, I’ve managed to pick up a grufallo costume for my 3yr old (major obsession!) a really cute bumblebee for my 2 year old (he has autism, anything too scary was out of the question) my partner will be an evil clown… he scared himself looking in the mirror, it’s a particularly freaky costume, my little boys gonna be keeping away from his daddy that night!
And for myself, the corpse bride. I’ve managed to pick up a second hand wedding dress from a local charity shop, it had the veil with it too, i’ve used fake blood here and there and muddied it up a bit snd it looks fab. just need the perfect scary makeup now to go with it. i’ve a feeling my kids won’t think too much of this one, they’ll just think I got dirty doing the garden, lol.

  17. Laura says:

🙁 I haven’t got a party to go to this year. My kids have a few though 🙂
It’s homemade all the way for us this year! My daughter is going as Cruella de Ville! We will be trawling the charity shops tomorrow for something resembling a white coat for her that we can draw spots on. My son is going to be a ghost. The job for today is making a big chunky chain out of cardboard and silver spray paint; it’s all fun!

  29. MICHELLE EVANS says:

I am thinking of dressing up as a blow up doll (achieved by cutting the valve off of a beach ball or a swimming arm-band and attaching it to the back of my hand). The thought of me parading around in my underwear with a valve attached to my hand would undoubtedly leave everyone at the party feeling pretty horrified! LOL!!

Four paper doilies folded and sewn in a horizontal line from the collar to give the impression of frills.Tears made in the shirt behind the frills to enable me to see, splattered with fake blood to futher disguise the holes. The underarms have had to be cut to give me room but I can still fasten the cuffs. Worn with black trousers, black boots and carrying my head which I have made out of paper mache with a fake wig.

We have been working all week on my daughters Halloween Costume, as it is half term. She is mad on spongebob square pants, and refused to be a witch or a cat, instead, she is Spongebad! We have decorated a large square box, painted it yellow and cut out holes, like a sponge. Spongebad has nasty sharp teeth dripping with blood and some bolts through his holes, and horrible wart on his nose. Scary, but its kept her amused all week.

  51. Elaine says:

We’re having a zombie party, and my OH has been preparing his costume for about a month – including putting his clothes in a saucepan with cabbage so they smell awful! I will be dressing as cousin It (from the Adamms Family) as I’m not sure a baby bump goes with being a zombie so i thought i would be something which covered it?! I just hope i don’t overheat!
